Ian Gourlay is the founder of BP Solutions and has over 30 years deep and extensive experience in
co-designing, co-developing, and delivering bespoke Lean and continuous improvement courses and
activities within a variety of organisations and sectors from micro companies with 1-10 employees to
multi nationals enabling them to be more self-sufficient on their innovation and improvement
journeys.
A trusted and expert partner, he has worked with service sector clients including telecoms, utilities,
public sector and automotive as well as many leading hospitals here in Ireland and 7 of the top 20
hospitals in the US with the flagship being the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
Ian holds a Masters in Lean (Honours) with Lean Black Belt; Higher Diploma (Honours) in Business in
Management; BS5750/ISO9001 in Quality Management; Six Sigma Green Belt; and he is a long-
standing Lean Service Provider with Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland
