MODOS is a circular economy training programme for micro, small and medium size enterprises. It is a joint initiative of the Economic Development Office (EDO) of Dublin City Council and the Eastern Midlands Waste Region Office (EMWRO).
Following the success of the 2019 and 2020 MODOS Circular Economy Training Programme for micro-enterprises and SMEs, we decided to extend our MODOS offering for 2021 by designing a series of webinars for a broad audience of private, public and third sector stakeholders.
The Pathways to the Circular Economy webinar series is FREE to attend, but registration is essential to reserve your space as numbers are limited to make this as interactive as possible for those attending.
About the Pathways to the Circular Economy webinar series
The MODOS Pathways to the Circular Economy webinar series is designed to inspire and create awareness for a range of stakeholders about the circular economy (CE) principles, concepts and practice. This series is aimed at SME’s, investors, public service actors, policy makers, public representatives, academics, students, social enterprises, change makers and citizens. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all those attending 2 or more of the webinars in the series.
Through a series of four interactive webinars, we will explore practical topics particularly relevant to building a thriving circular economy, including the valuable potential of the bioeconomy, scaling businesses, leveraging finance, the role of technology and researching sustainable packaging.
Who is this training programme suitable for?
MODOS is suitable for all businesses but is particularly relevant for those from the following sectors: construction and the built environment, food, retail, manufacturing, textiles and fashion, electronics, plastics and packaging.
