This workshop, the first in the Network’s 2024 series of events, will take place in Element Six’s Shannon facility.

Key themes for discussion on the day include:

  1. Applying ‘Lean’ to an engineering structure
  2. The E6 production management system – a 10-year Review
  3. Driving improvements in Practical Problem Solving (PPS) – Element Six’s journey and the introduction of ‘Yellow’ and ‘Green’ belt training
  4. Mapping out/scoping the introduction of a Continuous Improvement Specialist (CIS) role.

The workshop will include a site tour, giving attendees the opportunity to interact with shop floor operators on their experiences with ‘Lean’.

This very practical event promises a deep dive into various facets of Lean deployment in one of Element Six’s global manufacturing sites.
