Mid-West Lean Network Workshop: Digitalisation and Lean In Action

The Mid-West Lean Network: the second largest regional lean network in Ireland, after Waterford Institute of Technology’s Lean Enterprise Excellence Group, launched in November 2016, was set up to strengthen and increase the existing culture of lean within the Shannon and the wider Mid-West region. Its aim is to enable each industry to broaden and strengthen their competitiveness through knowledge sharing and bench-marking against each other and different industries.

This Workshop will take place in Zimmer Biomet, Shannon and will focus on: employing lean and digital solutions.

Hear from Martin Egan from Bijur Delimon as he shares his inspiring 2.5-year journey from vision to leading a digital transformation group. He’ll take you through his holistic approach to implementation, highlighting key milestones.

Clifford Naughton, Head of Finance, SCM, Procurement & Digitisation, B. Braun Medical Ltd  will present the digitalisation of BBraun’s logistics into their 2PL system, discussing the challenges, successes, and the importance of capturing sustainability data.
