This 5-day course is broken into Modules, Lessons, and Labs which will provide practical application of the methodology and facilitation of tools for Lean Six Sigma Green Belts.

What is Lean Six Sigma and who is this course suitable for?

Lean Six Sigma focuses on process performance removing waste and non-value add activities striving for a six-sigma level process of 3.4 defects per million opportunities through reduction of variation and data based decision making.

This is achieved through a philosophy to deliver and balance customer value and business profitability by removing wasteful and non-value-added activities from all business processes and products. Variation is reduced resulting in better, faster, lower cost products and services.

Results are delivered through a consistent, powerful methodology for gaining knowledge and problem solving known as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control)

Suitable for: 

The 5 day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Facilitation workshop is primarily aimed at team members tasked to lead project teams, be they local, cross functional and / or cross geographical in nature. These projects are results focused whereby the Green belt with support from the Organization and Project Sponsor challenges the status Quo by promoting critical thinking through the Green Belt being proficient in basic Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques acting as a change agent.

At the end of the training course participants will be able to:
•Understand the concept of Six Sigma and the DMAIC approach to process improvement.
•Understand the tools involved in the Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control phases.
•Understand the use of the tools in characterising processes, analysing process data, solving problems and controlling processes.
•Use the key tools to solve practical business problems.
•Lead local Six Sigma project teams or assist Black Belts to deliver tangible business results on larger projects
