Best Practice in Action: North East Lean Event – McAree Engineering Site Tour

The North East Lean Network is bringing businesses together to share and learn on lean, operational excellence, innovation and sustainability. The network is staging their first best practice site visit to McAree Engineering on Thursday, April 12th.

Heather Humphreys TD, Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation, will be in attendance as a special guest for the best practice visit.

The North East Lean Network invites you to attend their first site visit to McAree Engineering Ltd., which is a 3rd generation family business established in 1946. They are a full service, outsource sheet metal fabrication business servicing a range of global brand OEM’s and also design and manufacture the V-Mac Silo brand of bulk storage solutions. The company operates out of two factories in North Monaghan employing 120 team members.

They are a long standing Enterprise Ireland client and have completed the Lean Start, Plus and Transformation programmes. During this visit they will cover some of their key projects and the lessons learnt.
