Dublin Lean Network was delighted to host Evelina Markauské, Senior Business Excellence manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific for a virtual knowledge-sharing event on Friday, 11th October 2024.
She recently celebrated her 12th anniversary with Thermo Fisher Scientific, marking a significant period of growth and development with the company. Over the years, she has been actively involved in LEAN initiatives, collaborating with various teams on process improvement projects, leading trainings, and facilitating meetings with diverse stakeholders to drive LEAN improvements.
One of her most notable accomplishments was winning the prestigious Shingo Prize with the Vilnius site back in 2017, a milestone that fueled her passion for LEAN values and strategy. This personal ambition led her to pursue and achieve Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification in 2024, after dedicating countless hours to studying, problem-solving, and mastering continuous improvement practices. Evelina’s drive for learning and growth is evident, with this certification reflecting her commitment to both personal and professional excellence.
