IRISH ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION

These Regulations amend the Waste Management (Collection Permit) Regu-lations 2007 to remove the requirement on a collector of household waste to charge on a pay by weight per kilogramme basis and other associated requirements for collecting household kerbside waste.

This Statutory Instrument gives effect to the decision of the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to transfer the property listed in the schedule to the Order from water services authorities to Irish Water in accordance with section 12 of the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 .

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Waste Directive) Regulations 2011, ( S.I. No. 126 of 2011 ), in order to give further effect to those provisions of Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on waste which promotes the use of economic instruments in a progressive manner to drive resource efficiency and support the management of waste in accordance with the waste hierarchy.

The area known as Ballymore Fen Special Area of Conservation 002313 is situated in the county of Westmeath being the land and waters enclosed on the map (contained in Schedule 1) within the inner margin of the red line and hatched in red and is situated in whole or in part in the townlands of Duneel, Maddadoo, Mullaghcloe and Rathskeagh Upper.

The area known as Liskeenan Fen Special Area of Conservation 001683 is situated in the county of Tipperary being the land and waters enclosed on the map (contained in Schedule 1) within the inner margin of the red line and hatched in red and is situated in whole or in part in the townlands of Cloghleigh (E.D. Aglishcloghane), Lisbryan, Lismacrory, Munlusk and Munnia (E.D. Aglishcloghane).

The area known as Annaghmore Lough (Roscommon) Special Area of Conservation 001626 is situated in the county of Roscommon being the land and waters enclosed on the map (contained in Schedule 1) within the inner margin of the red line and hatched in red and is situated in whole or in part in the townlands of Annaghbeg (E.D. Annaghmore), Annaghmore (E.D. Annaghmore), Carrownvally, Clooncunny, Cloonsreane, Corraslira, Doonard Beg, Doonard More, Drinaun, Drumman and Dunmurraghoe.

The area known as Towerhill House Special Area of Conservation 002179 is situated in the county of Mayo being the land and waters enclosed on the map (contained in Schedule 1) within the inner margin of the red line and hatched in red and is situated in whole or in part in the townlands of Carrownagreggaun, Clooneenkillew and Towerhill Demesne.

The area known as Glen Bog Special Area of Conservation 001430 is situated in the county of Limerick being the land and waters enclosed on the map (contained in Schedule 1) within the inner margin of the red line and hatched in red and is situated in whole or in part in the townlands of Kilballyowen and Patrickswell.
