IRISH ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION

These Regulations amend article 23 of the Environmental Protection Agency (Licensing) Regulations, 1994 to provide for the availability for inspection or purchase of documents related to applications for licences or revised licences or to review of licences. The Regulations also require that any written report by or for the Agency for purposes of a licence determination or decision will also be made available for inspection or purchase, over an extended period following the making of the determination or decision.

These Regulations amend the Environmental Protection Agency (Licensing Fees) Regulations, 1994 ( S.I. No. 130 of 1994 ) by substituting for the schedule to those Regulations a schedule which includes fees payale to the Agency for applications for licences, reviews of licences or revised licences, and objections, in respect of an extended range of activities in the First Schedule to the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 .

These Regulations amend the Environmental Protection Agency (Licensing) Regulations, 1994, ( S.I. No. 85 of 1994 ), for the purpose of prescribing the day on or after which specified classes of activity in the First Schedule to the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 will require an integrated pollution control licence in accordance with section 82 (1) of the Act.

The Regulations also specify the "relevant day" for the purposes of "established activity" in section 3 of the 1992 Act in respect of specified classes of activity in the First Schedule to the Act.

This Order, which should be read in conjunction with section 82 (3) of the 1992 Act, specifies dates on or after which the established activities concerned are required to have applied to the Environment Protection Agency for an integrated pollution control licence.

This Order brings into operation with effect from the 3 April, 1995, paragraphs 3, 12 and 13 of the First Schedule to the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 (No. 7 of 1992).

These Regulations prescribe new application and renewal forms for a salmon dealer’s licence, an eel dealer’s licence and a molluscan shellfish dealer’s licence and the forms of these licences

This Order transfers the Moy Fishery at Ballina, Co. Mayo, which has been in the ownership of the Department of the Marine since 1987, to the Central Fisheries Board
