About the Network

The Mid-West Lean Network: the second largest regional lean network in Ireland, after Waterford Institute of Technology’s Lean Enterprise Excellence Group, launched in November, was set up to strengthen and increase the existing culture of lean within the Shannon and the wider Mid-West region. Its aim is to enable each industry to broaden and strengthen their competitiveness through knowledge sharing and bench-marking against each other and different industries.

The workshop will take place in Takumi Precision Engineering and will focus on: employing lean and digital solutions.
Registration from 8.30 am, workshop starts at 9.00 am

About the Speaker

Donal Galligan, Takumi CEO, will speak on their digital transformation journey and present on the increased efficiencies and productivity that arose from this process for their customers.

Donal will replay the journey they have been in recent years and how they have over come some serious challenges, employing lean and digital solutions. He will look at how standardisation and visualisation have significantly improved productivity allowing the company to scale up.

This is a story of how a serious business transformation can begin from small wins and a change of mindset.
