The EPA National Waste Event will be streamed via a web-based app on 16 & 17 September. Registered delegates can access the event program on tablets, laptops, or desktop devices.

The circular economy aims to extend the useful life of products and materials including their reuse and reduce waste to an absolute minimum. This online event is an opportunity for those interested in the waste sector to learn about recent developments in the circular economy and the opportunities and challenges of this sector of the economy. It will also be of interest to those involved in enforcing the national waste enforcement priorities.

The event will include presentations from the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment; Accenture UK; County and City Management Association; Local Authorities; Irish Manufacturing Research; EPA; the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP) Cymru.

The event will run over two mornings and will involve four sessions.

Day 1 of this event is open to all participants. Day 2 will be open to Public Authority Personnel or NIECE members only

The event is approved by Engineers Ireland for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development.

There will be opportunities to network, communicate with fellow attendees, and participate in polling and Q&A sessions.
