About the Speakers

 

Paul Guildea, Transformation Leader, CARNE Group

Paul is the Transformation Leader at Carne and currently leads the Operational Excellence Programme being rolled out across the group. Paul has a wealth of experience having led transformation programmes across multiple industries. Prior to joining Carne, Paul worked for global organisations including Kelloggs, KBC, and Kerry Foods. Paul’s experience and expertise allows him to evaluate, equip and empower organisations to embed the tools, techniques, innovative solutions and cultural shift required to secure scalable and sustainable transformation. Paul’s other big passion is history, spending most weekends delving into books and biographies detailing the lives of historical leaders.

 

Garry Corbet, S A Partners

Garry Corbet has over 10 years working in continuous improvement using Lean principles and has held several senior leadership roles prior to joining SA Partners. Garry’s background is in finance and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway. He held many different roles including the Head of Finance & IT, Continuous Improvement and Human Resources. He also held the role of Director of Service and Continuous Improvement in the IT industry. In 2013 Garry was awarded a MSc in Lean from Cardiff University. He has a passion for change with particular focus on people and coaching. His industry experience in change and change management includes financial services, IT, food, medical device, pharma & construction, and while working closely with manufacturing he has gained invaluable experience in back office transactional Lean particularly in finance and IT. Garry also has significant experience developing and managing the end to end (design, develop, submission, audit and claim) Enterprise Ireland Lean training programmes.
